NCVPRN NEWS:

At our Spring Meeting on April 8, 2011; NCVPRN awarded Pam Gaines the "Distinguished Member of the Year" Award. She received many nominations that recognized her efforts for bringing the Fall Meeting to North Platte and for her dual role as a State Officer and Co-Chair of the Programs committee. Thank you and Congratulations Pam!

Our raffle was a huge success! We raised more than $2,500! The elliptical bike was won by Penny Barels of Columbus. Columbus sold "60" raffle tickets and received a certificate for one free registration to the Spring 2012 Conference in Omaha. Valentine sold "49" tickets and will receive a registration the Fall Conference in Kearney. We again want to recognize and thank Howard Kutler of Nova Fitness for his donation of the bike. Thank you to all the members who sold ticket. The profits help NCVPRN continue to offer quality speakers at our conferences.

Congratulations to Gayla Oakley on her recent nomination and election to the Board of Directors of AACVPR. We wish her luck in the new position.

Nebraska was featured in the July/August issue of News and Views for AACVPR.
